Twilight at the Emmys

Last night, the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live (location sound familiar?), and a few prominent faces of the Twilight world made an appearance.

For starters, Michael Sheen ("Aro") was there as a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for his work in The Special Relationship (Al Pacino ended up winning the award for his work in You Don't Know Jack.). He talked about his character and his perspectives on the rise of television series' popularity in a video interview.

In addition, Peter Facinelli ("Carlisle Cullen") came out to support Nurse Jackie, a nominee, and tweeted about his experience. "Oops.Went to the bathroom and Edie Falco won an Emmy 4 Nurse Jackie. Missed the whole thing. #emmyfail. Congrats Edie. You deserve it! :)"

Finally, Melissa Rosenberg (screenwriter) was on the red carpet in support of Dexter. MTV caught up with her to discuss The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, and she revealed that she was about 75-80% finished writing the scripts, that the toughest challenge so far has been to approach the final battle sequence, and that the possibility for the film to be shot partially in Brazil was high.
