Robert Pattinson Growing a Beard?

Robert Pattinson might really have some trouble getting a kiss from girlfriend Kristen Stewart. His new beard would make it an itchy experience for his “Twilight” co-star. So why is he growing it?

Rob was first spotted with his advancing growth in London last January as he made his way for his appearance on George Clooney’s Hope For Haiti telethon.

It was one of the few sightings of the elusive vampire star and surprised many of his fans with his short beard.

Some believed that Rob was getting into character for his frontier action film “Unbound Captives,” then in pre-production.

Rob was clean shaved when he shot the film “Bel Ami” in the spring and was back to his usual stubble when he made appearances during promotion for “Twilight” sequel “Eclipse.”

But Rob apparently liked the look. He’s had some down time since promotion for “Eclipse” ended and filming “Water for Elephants” wrapped, and apparently started working on the beard again.

After the “Teen Choice Awards” in LA, he was next spotted in Canada in early August. While visiting with Kristen and pal Tom Sturridge on the Montreal set of “On The Road” his stubble was heavier than usual and he clearly appeared to be going for a beard.

When he was spotted Aug. 29 making his way from Soho House to the Trousdale lounge in West Hollywood, his beard was in full bloom.

Twilight Cast not Attending VMA's?

Everyone is looking forward to seeing their favorite stars at this year's VMA awards, but for those Twilight fans, you will be disappointed.

Reports from E! Online have revealed that the three main stars of Twilight; Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will not be in attendance this Sunday.

Why aren't they attending? Well it seems that the stars are not promoting any new films, Pattinson has been off on vacation and Stewart and Lautner and are busy working on other projects.

It is possible that other Twilight stars could attend the event, but there is no confirmation on that.

If you are in real need of a Twilight fix, Summit Entertainment is going to be celebrating Bella's birthday by re-releasing Eclipse in theaters

New Lights on Carlisle Cullen

It is reported by musicrooms that Peter Facinelli has said that he would love to have played Robert Pattinson’s role in the Twilight movies. Peter plays Carlisle Cullen, the adoptive father of brooding vampire Edward Cullen (played by Robert). The character of Edward Cullen in the Twilight series of movies has caught the fancy of female fans all over the world and now 36-year-old Peter – who is married to actress Jennie Garth – confesses it would have been fun to grab the lead role.

Peter finds the role of Edward interesting and complex and would have enjoyed trying to connect with him. However, Peter removes himself from the list of direct contenders of British actor. He says to the recent American edition OK! Magazine, “If I was maybe 10, 11 years younger – what is Rob like 24? – I’d like to play Edward.”

He says in that interview: “But the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree so it’s pretty cool playing Carlisle.” Peter further contends he is ‘Team Edward’, joking “I like to keep it in the family”, before disclosing he has formed a close bond with Robert since the pair began shooting for the franchise.

The star says that Robert is “intense” and he had some good time listening to him playing the guitar when they took time out from filming the first Twilight movie: This of course in good earlier days before they started being mobbed by fans.

Twilight at the Emmys

Last night, the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live (location sound familiar?), and a few prominent faces of the Twilight world made an appearance.

For starters, Michael Sheen ("Aro") was there as a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for his work in The Special Relationship (Al Pacino ended up winning the award for his work in You Don't Know Jack.). He talked about his character and his perspectives on the rise of television series' popularity in a video interview.

In addition, Peter Facinelli ("Carlisle Cullen") came out to support Nurse Jackie, a nominee, and tweeted about his experience. "Oops.Went to the bathroom and Edie Falco won an Emmy 4 Nurse Jackie. Missed the whole thing. #emmyfail. Congrats Edie. You deserve it! :)"

Finally, Melissa Rosenberg (screenwriter) was on the red carpet in support of Dexter. MTV caught up with her to discuss The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, and she revealed that she was about 75-80% finished writing the scripts, that the toughest challenge so far has been to approach the final battle sequence, and that the possibility for the film to be shot partially in Brazil was high.

Jackson Rathbone To be on No Ordinary Family!

Coming up necks for Twilightbloodsucker Jackson Rathbone: A potentially recurring role on ABC’s No Ordinary Family.
The 25-year-old actor—whose two summer films, Eclipse andThe Last Airbender, collectively grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide—will play Trent Stafford, a high school classmate of Kay Panabaker telepathic Daphne. Trent was recently the victim of a home invasion robbery, and I’m guessing Daphne will join forces with her superhero parents to help catch the perp.
Rathbone last appeared on the small screen in 2009, when he guest-starred as a serial killer with multiple personalities on Criminal Minds.

Melissa Rosenberg to discuss Vampires with Stephen King

At this year's New Yorker Festival in New York City, Twilight series screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg will be participating in a discussion panel on the subject of "vampires in popular culture" with none other than Stephen King.

Stephen King has written vampire lore novels before, including Salem's Lot, and, of course, Melissa Rosenberg has written the screenplays for Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.

So, in other words, they both have experience in the vampire pop culture field.

Of course, most Twilight fans are hard-pressed to forget Stephen King's words about Stephenie Meyer, so there is bound to be a bit of dismay over the coupling involved for this panel.

It should be interesting - understatement - to hear how the two approach the issue as it is inevitable that the Twilight series will come up during those discussions. One has to wonder whether Stephen King will be deferential to the Saga's success and popularity, or if he will dismiss the Saga altogether and focus on other works of vampire fiction.

Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene play dominos for charity

Twilight co-stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene will be spending their Labor Day weekend in Vieques, Puerto Rico playing a game of Hollywood Domino for charity.

Hollywood Domino is a celebrity gaming event - which took place last time in March for Haiti earthquake relief - that has been hosted in various cities across the world, according to one source, including London, New York, and Los Angeles.

See Twilight Lexicon's post for more details.

Both Lutz and Greene have been very active with their respective charities of choice. For instance, Ashley Greene recently hosted Super Saturday 13 in the Hamptons to raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Lutz, meanwhile, has used his Twitter page almost exclusively (though he is known to give his fans a shout out quite regularly) to raise awareness for groups like the St. Bernard Project. These are but two of many activities the two have done for charity as individuals, though.

As all proceeds from this round of Hollywood Domino are going to children, their decision to participate is not surprising.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pulls Out of Brazil

In the final chapter of Stephenie Meyer's hugely successful Vampire romance novel series The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, newly weds Bella and Edward head to Brazil for their honeymoon. Director Bill Condon had planned to shoot these scenes on location for his upcoming adaptation of the book The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, but now it doesn't look like he wants to bring cast members Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson into the country.

In a story from The Daily Fill, it seems that a hostage situation in Rio has the producers too nervous to shoot there. While scenes were originally scheduled to take place in Brazil, a drug gang who had taken 35 tourists hostage at the Intercontinental Hotel in Rio de Janeiro has changed their minds. Now, the production is scrambling to find a new place to shoot these important moments from the upcoming film.

The hostage situation ended in a blaze of gunfire that took one person's life, and injured six others. The gang eventually surrendered, but there were at least 1,550 tourists in the hotel at the time, and the situation was not deemed an isolated incident. Producers of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 decided not to shoot within the country simply because they don't want to put their stars in any kind of danger.

At this time, Rio officials are lobbying to have Summit Entertainment still shoot in the city despite recent events.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 comes to theaters November 18th, 2011 and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Anna Kendrick, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed,Peter Facinelli. The flim is directed by Bill Condon.

Possible Delay in Filming?

Summit Entertainment is considering delaying their hit franchise, “Twilight's” Filming in Brazil.  Brazilian violence in Rio de Janeiro may delay filming that was scheduled for later this month. Last weekend’s clash between drug gangs and the Brazilian police in Rio has made movie executives reconsider their filming schedule.
35 civilians were taken hostage in a hotel this past Saturday. The standoff ended in a gunfight that left one dead and four police officers wounded. City officials are now trying to persuade Summit Entertainment executives that everything is safe in the city and that they can stick to their filming schedule.

What would happen if the “Twilight” movie executives delayed filming in Brazil or cut Rio completely out of the movie? At the worst, this movie delay could cost some at considerable money in rescheduling or relocating. It is however, understandable that the executives are showing concern for their actors’ and production crew's safety. The real question is whether or not last weekend's violence was just an isolated incident.

Twilight's Robert Pattinson lacks bite in top vampires chart

ROBERT PATTINSON may be an idol for thousands of Twilight fans but he has a long way to go before becoming an enduring, international icon of horror fiction.
In a new poll to find the top vampire, Pattinson's Edward Cullen was even beaten by Count Duckula, from the UK cartoon series that was a spoof on the Transylvanian fiend and a spin-off from DangerMouse.
Perhaps not that surprising when you consider Pattinson has played pale, sparkly Edward in three Twilight films (with the two upcoming instalments of Breaking Dawn finishing off the saga) while Dracula has appeared in more than 200 movies - more than any other fictional character except Sherlock Holmes - and been referenced in well over 600 films.
With that impressive stake in popular culture, Bram Stoker's literary creation easily beat the new blood to top the list in a poll commissioned by sci-fi and fantasy magazine SFX.
The monster was memorably played by actor Christopher Lee in numerous Hammer films and by Gary Oldman in the 1992 movie Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Second place went to Spike from the US TV series Buffy, while in third place was Angel from the same show.
More than 8,000 fans took part in the SFX website survey as part of the magazine's 200th issue celebrations.
Robert Pattinson's Twilight character Edward Cullen failed to make the top ten and figures only at number 14.
He was even beaten by cartoon character Count Duckula who was placed in ninth position by voters.
Top ten favourite vampires of all time:
1. Dracula
2. Spike (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
3. Angel (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel)
4. John Mitchell (Being Human)
5. Drusilla (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
6. Eric Northman (True Blood)
7. Mick St John (Moonlight)
8. Selene (Underworld)
9. Count Duckula (Count Duckula)
10. Darla (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)

Nikki Reed Likens Bella And Rosalie To A 'Divorced Couple'

Nikki Reed talks about Bella And Rosalie's Bond In Breaking Dawn

With "Eclipse" about to leave theaters and a sizable gap between the release dates of "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and "Part 2," the "Twilight" news seems hard to come by these days — at least until the cast starts filming "Dawn" this fall.

Lucky for us, MTV News caught up with Nikki Reed recently to talk about her upcoming indie film "Last Day of Summer" co-starring DJ Qualls, and, naturally, the conversation veered into "Breaking Dawn" territory. As fans and readers of Stephenie Meyer's final "Twilight" book know, Reed's character Rosalie and Kristen Stewart's Bella form an unexpected bond late in the series. We asked her thoughts on how the relationship between the two women changes in the final two films.
"What is that saying: Nothing makes two people bond more than the hate of another?" Reed said. "I kind of feel like that [describes Bella and Rosalie's relationship], but in relation to love in 'Breaking Dawn,' because they both love this child so much."
Speaking of Bella and Edward's much-discussed baby, Renesmee, Reed explained that a shared love unites the two. "I think it's finally the one thing that's strong enough to bring them together — their love for this [child]. It's bizarre," Reed said, since in the books and the films Bella and Rosalie don't exactly get along perfectly. "It's like they learn to co-exist for the sake of the kid, almost like they're a divorced couple."
Reed has also said that her character's motivations for wanting Bella to have the baby at all costs are all about that love she has for the child, not politics.
"I think that Rosalie just always wanted to be a mom, and that's how I look at it," she said. "It has nothing to do with being pro-life or anything. I think it's about her want, her need to be a mother, and this is the only opportunity she's ever going to have, so she's willing to let Bella die so she can have that and fulfill that, and that's how I look at it. It's her own personal desires."

Eclipse passes New Moon in US ticket sales!

For a few weeks now, some Twilight fans have been watching the numbers creep by, knowing that at any moment The Twilight Saga: Eclipse would surpass the domestic sales gross achieved by The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Yesterday Eclipse did pass New Moon In ticket sales.

Eclipse has overtaken New Moon in domestic sales by a few thousand dollars (Eclipse has $296,649,934, while New Moon brought in $296,623,634). Eclipse is still in theaters, of course, but this means that it'll have surpassed both predecessors in domestic gross (Twilight brought in $192,769,854).

The Twilight Saga: New Moon still has the overall, highest worldwide gross of the three ($709,826,790), but Eclipse isn't very far behind ($653,349,934).

Vampires Suck Movie

Vampires Suck movie delivered funny Twilight Saga spoofs & more. 20th Century Fox released their new spoof/comedy flick “Vampires Suck” into theaters this weekend. I just got back from seeing it,and I thought it was pretty funny. Some of the jokes were lame,so I can see how the top critics gave it some pretty negative reviews. However it wasn’t entirely bad as it did deliver some pretty funny spoofs for the “Twilight Saga” movies. It stars: Matt Lanter, Emily Brobst, Jenn Proske, Chris Riggi, Krystal Mayo, Crista Flanagan, Ken Jeong, Arielle Kebbel, and Devon Kelly.
Vampires Suck” movie revolved around character Becca (Jenn Proske), which was a spoof on the Twilight Saga Bella character. She eventually meets Jacob, then Edward, but his name is Edward Sullen instead of Cullen. Becca and Edward go through the same scenes as the Twilight movies accept they have a little spoofy twist to them.
Edward saves Becca from the speeding van by throwing another person in front of it,he kills vampire James by knocking his head off with a baseball bat and shoving it up his butt,Edwards whole family tries to attack Becca instead of just the one member, and more. Finally, after delivering one spoof after another,it delivered a crazy ending, involving the Volturi Clan,or the spoof Volturi Clan I should say. They had that funny Asian guy from “The Hangover” movie play the lead Volturi, and he was very funny.
Edward and the Volturi ended up battling it out at the high school prom instead of private palace in Italy. I thought the movie was pretty funny. They definitely missed on a couple of the spoofs as they were just too ridiculous, but it was never boring, and it did make me laugh so I enjoyed it. It also featured a funny “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” spoof. I gave it a B- grade. “Vampires Suck” movie is in theaters now.

Nikki Reed Talks The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn

Now that Eclipse has come and gone, there will be no escaping Breaking Dawn talk for the cast of The Twilight Saga. I got the chance to chat with Nikki Reed about her upcoming non-vampire release, Last Day of Summer in which she stars alongside her good pal DJ Qualls, and Reed took the time to answer some of my questions about the next two installments, even though she doesn’t know too much herself. The final book in Stephenie Meyer’s series, Breaking Dawn, is divided into three sections, however, the film version will be delivered in two. Will Breaking Dawn be broken up according to one of the splits in the book? Reed will find out eventually, but for right now she explained, “They haven’t told us yet. We haven’t even received the scripts.” Odds are they’ll be getting those scripts very soon because Reed said shooting will begin in about eight weeks and both films will be shot back-to-back. Spoiler alert for those who haven’t read the books … Now for a prime concern that may come up in the first film, the birth of Bella’s half-vampire baby. I’ve never read the book, but apparently the scene is pretty striking. Having not yet seen the script, Reed didn’t know exactly how the big moment would be handled but did say, “It’s certainly very graphic the way that it’s written. We clearly know what our ratings are going to be in these movies; they’re not going to be rated R films, so they’re going to have to just keep it tame.” End Spoiler Alert That duty will fall to the direct of the final two films, Bill Condon. Reed is still enraptured by her fantastic experience working with Eclipse director David Slade, but has high hopes for working with Condon thanks to the fantastic things she’s heard about him. “I actually haven’t met him yet, but I’m a big fan of his work and I heard from everybody that he’s such a sweet, kind man,” she said. “That’s always a nice enlivenment to work in, so I’m excited about that.” That’s all from Reed on the Breaking Dawn front, but keep an eye out for my full chat with her packed with tons of information on Last Day of Summer, the new music she directed and more.

Will Kristen Stewart end with Twilight Saga?

Kristen Stewart, the brunet beauty of Hollywood had risen in this tinsel town with and along the Twilight Saga! She has been with the Summit Entertainment since the first shoot of Twilight and has been through its journey in every ups and downs to it success!
It was Twilight, which brought Kristen in focus of the light of fame and name on Hollywood entertainment industry! Now she is one of the hottest names in Hollywood and is the cause of loads of buzzes in the cyberspace! Her fan fare is also increasing day by day worldwide!
But… have we ever thought of what is Kristen without Twilight? If there wouldn’t have been Twilight, where would have been Kristen? When Twilight will end with its last sequel in its movie series, what will happen to her? Will she get and prosper in the same manner with other producers and directors and co-actors too?
If the causes of her fame at this point of time is got to be judged, then Robert Pattinson and their on/off screen chemistry and the Summit Entertainment owes credit!
A subtle example of Kristen’s actual state of being in Hollywood can be cited from a very recent matter- she was in high and tough competition with many leading faces of Hollywood to try for the lead of the movie- ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’! Kristen was in high expectations and much looked at for getting the most wanted role… but she failed to make up to it! Rooney Mara took away the crown!
Too many young new fresh faces are turning up in the industry every now and then! Talented actress like Rooney Mara is ever challenging and tough to beat at. Did Rooney actually spoil Kristen’s prospective growth in Hollywood? Does this prove any way that Kristen will be unsuccessful without Twilight?
Well… actresses like Rooney Mara can be really a patch of worry and danger to many more faces in Hollywood!
The supposed expert adds, “If [Stewart] is arrogant enough to think she won’t be replaced in the hearts and minds of fans, tell her to call Hanson and ask how things are going.”
google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad);
Apparently, Stewart’s career mirrors that of 1990s pop act Hanson, and she now teeters on the edge of oblivion because Rooney Mara got a part in a movie over every single other young actress in Hollywood.
Although both Kristen Stewart and Rooney Mara are rising stars with bright future and many roles ahead of her, still I think it’s high time for Kristen to buckle up her shoes and gear up her efforts… if she wants to continue her path of success!

Robert Pattinson Sexiest man in the world!

After becoming the richest man in UK and one of the "World's Most Powerful Celebs" on the Forbes list, "Twilight" hot star Robert Pattinson has been named the "World's Sexiest Man" for a second straight year, according to the poll results of British fashion magazine "Glamour." The runner-up on the list also comes from "Twilight" series – the werewolf "Jacob Black" Taylor Lautner.

And the rest three places of top five are all occupied by actors from the two different vampire based franchises – "Twilight" and the television series "The Vampire Dairies."
However, some of the list-frequenters seem to be less charming to voters. Johnny Depp slid down to sixth position from last year's second place. And Brad Pitt fell onto the 33rd place while Beckham even slid to 21st position.
George Clooney suffered a similar drop in popularity, going from seventh to 35th place. Jude Law and Leonardo DiCaprio dropped out of the top 50 altogether.

Twilight Stars top Glamour magazine's Sexiest Men!

Robert Pattinson is sexier than Taylor Lautner, but only by a notch, according to 50,000 women who participated in U.K.'s Glamour magazine poll. The vampire and the werewolf of "Twilight" beat out 48 other heartthrobs in the Sexiest Men of 2010 survey.
While Pattinson, 24, isn't new to the list, in fact he was at the same top spot last year, Lautner, 18, is, and so is the rest of the top five – "Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder and "Twilight" stars Xavier Samuel and Kellan Lutz.
With the exception of Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob in the film series, the sexiest men alive in the top 5 all play vampires.
Acting editor Charlotte Duck was quoted by Telegraph as saying, "Women are attracted to vampires because of the element of danger that comes with them. They are the ultimate bad boy – and women want to tame the beast within."
Johnny Depp, who was last year's 2nd place, dropped to 6th this year. But that's not bad compared to what happened to Hollywood's leading men.
Mature heartthrobs Brad Pitt (33rd), David Beckham (21st), and George Clooney (35th) were all eased out of the top spots. Pitt was 5th last year, Beckham was 4th, and Clooney was 7th.
Out of the list are Jude Law, Leonardo DiCaprio ,and Keanu Reeves, last year's 26th, 38th, and 43rd respectively.
Glamour magazine's Sexiest Men:
1. Robert Pattinson
2. Taylor Lautner
3. Ian Somerhalder
4. Xavier Samuel
5. Kellan Lutz
6. Johnny Depp
7. Justin Bieber
8. Gerard Butler
9. Hayden Christensen
10. Channing Tatum

And then we get excited to come back and it’s like a great family reunion. I can’t wait. I really can’t wait. Twilight Eclipse Behind The Scenes Clip

James Franco to Join the Twilight Cast?

What's fun about James Franco is that you never know what to expect from him. He might pop up in some self-deprecating Funny or Die videos, or play a pillow-obsessed weirdo on "30 Rock," or appear as a serial killer on "General Hospital." Heck, the guy is starring in the latest reworking of the "Planet of the Apes" franchise.
He keeps you guessing. So what are we to make of this new Esquire interview, in which Franco hints he's getting involved with "Twilight"? When the interviewer first meets the 32-year-old actor, he's cradling a paperback that he reluctantly admits is the first volume in Stephenie Meyer's vampire series, saying, "It's for a project."
Does that mean he could be joining the cast of "Breaking Dawn," which is set to begin filming in the fall? Or is this mysterious project just about vampires or teenage drama? A rep for Franco did not return MTV News' request for comment by press time.
All we can say for certain, at this point, is that Franco is a fan of the book. "It's crazy how much sexual tension there is," he said. "It just builds and builds. I mean it never stops. It's sort of explosive by the end. Crazy. Like they'll blow up with it. And of course, they don't. Which is the point too, I guess."
Franco did say that the project was "way, way off" and only "something I'm thinking about," so Twi-hards should proceed with their Franco dreams with caution.
Whether or not he joins the "Twilight" cast, it's funny to note that his brother, Dave, actually auditioned for the role of Edward Cullen. And he's not sorry he lost out on the part to Robert Pattinson.
"I don't want that kind of fame," the younger Franco said. "Hell no. I don't like the idea of losing my anonymity and not having a personal life."
Check out everything we've got on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."

Charlie Bewley on the Breaking Dawn Birth scene.

Volturi actor Charlie Bewley (Demetri) is the latest member of The Twilight Saga cast to chime in with his thoughts on Parts 1 and 2 of final movie Breaking Dawn, and the ever-popular topic of Bella's somewhat gruesome birth scene.
Taking a leaf out of Ashley Greene (Alice) and Jackson Rathbone's (Jasper) book, Bewley said nothing when asked about a shooting start date for Breaking Dawn, saying he doesn't know and joking that "They haven't offered me anything yet, so we'll just see. I just may walk away from the whole thing".
On the subject of Bella's much anticipated birth scene, Bewley has very specific ideas for how it should all play out.
I think they should just go all the way and do it in 3D! The baby kind of like pops out and floats above the audience's head. Everyone who goes to see the movie with a bunch of kids going, "What?!"
On a serious note, he said "I have no idea. [But] they have to keep it in there. It's part of the book." Well said, Mr. Bewley — what would Breaking Dawn be without an homage to the chest-bursting scene from Alien? We can't wait to see if Summit decides to give the whole movie the 3D treatment and, if they do, just how far they'll take Renesmee's introduction

The Twilight saga: Movie Games

Are you obsessed with the movie and film series Twilight? Do you self-identify as a “Twi-hard”? If you do, you probably don’t need a trivia game to prove it—but here’s one anyway! Developed by GameHouse, The Twilight Saga Eclipse Movie Game is a trivia application for only the most dedicated of Twilight fans, featuring hi-res images from the movies and questions only the true fan would know the answers to. While the average movie-goer may think the Vampire/Werewolf teenage romance series only has three characters, there are over twenty-one characters to learn about and obsess over.
If you know the answer to this question, congrats, you're a Twi-Hard.
The game is a pretty straightforward question and answer game. There are two types of play—single player, which is a “survival mode” (you have three lives/can get three questions wrong before the game is over), and multiplayer, which pits you against up to four other players. In each mode, you can choose one of 21—that’s right, 21—Twilight characters to represent you. In multiplayer mode, each player can choose a separate character, and choose whether the game goes on for 5, 10, or 20 questions (in single player mode the questions keep coming until you’re out of lives.
The game presents a series of multiple-choice questions that you much answer in a set amount of time (the faster you answer each question, the higher your score). Questions range from trivia about the Twilight series that only true Twi-hards will know the answer to, to more general picture-based questions (where you are shown a picture and then asked a question about the picture) that less dedicated fans might be able to ace. In multiplayer mode, each player has a chance to answer the same question before moving onto the next (yeah, you get to pass the iPhone around).
If you’re a Twilight fan, this game is worth the download—since it's free. You’ll get to prove to all of your friends that you are the most insane of the Twi-hards, and you might even get to see a few sexy snaps of a shirtless Taylor Lautner. However, if you’re not particularly versed in the movies, this game is probably not worth the download. The only thing that might save your score are the occasional questions that show you a picture and then ask things specifically about that picture (such as, “What color shirt was she wearing?”). Bottom line: if you like Twilight, go for it; if you’re not a Twilight fan…why torture yourself?
(Game Description found on Macworld.com)

Click the Twilight Photos below to take to you itunes to download the games. These games can be downloaded on itunes For $.99 Cents and can be played on the iphone and ipad. Hope you enjoy!

A year long Wait?

After releasing the first three movies in "The Twilight Saga" in a span of just 19 months, Summit will take its time with the franchise’s final two films. Plenty of time!

The studio announced this morning that the second installment of "Breaking Dawn" will follow the first one by a full year, coming out on Nov. 16, 2012. This despite the fact that Bill Condon is shooting the movies back-to-back beginning this fall, which would mean the second film would certainly be ready by the summer of 2012. Warner Bros.' Harry Potter franchise was able to wait longer stretches between a few of its installments -- for much of the film series, a stream of new books kept the property front-of-mind. "Twilight" doesn't have that. It has to hope interest carries over between films all on its own, and that filmgoers don't outgrow it or move on to a new phenomenon in between. We were already a little perplexed that the first "Breaking Dawn" was being held for November 2011, putting nearly a 1-1/2 years between installments. With this announcement it's clear what Summit is thinking: Stick with the autumn and avoid the summer.

It may not be the worst move from a seasonal standpoint. Despite bringing out "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" in an expectation-laden summer, Summit has been able to gin up only marginally more business for the David Slade film than it did for the November release of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." (Domestic grosses at a comparable point in the release cycle sit at $288 million, compared to $277 million for "New Moon.)

But in taking its time between the movies, Summit is increasing the risk that that fans will get distracted or lose some enthusiasm.

The yearlong wait between the two "Breaking Dawn" films is even more striking because the two movies come from source material that was initially conceived as a whole. No matter where Condon and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg choose to split the book (spoiler alert: Bella's traumatic childbirth is a logical option), for filmgoers it will mean waiting a full year for what’s essentially the same story to pick up again.

With its bang-bang release of the first three “Twilight” films, Summit was initially perhaps a little too worried fans would age up or lose interest over time. With the more languid pacing for the final two, it's possible they may not be concerned enough.

Kristen Stewart interview.

Did you know that before Twilight Kristen has been in just about 20 movies!! she didn't really get noticed until the hit movie Twilight. Before she could walk around and hardly get noticed. But after the Twilight movies she gets croweds of paparazi and fans swarming her.

17 million copies, and there are more than 350 fan sites devoted to the stories, so the burden of expectation was high, and casting the right couple in the leading roles vital.

“It’s just surreal to be a crucial part of a machine like this,” says Stewart. “I’m sort of the vessel. These girls are obsessed with Edward through me. If I wasn’t right, I’d be persecuted and put on a cross.”
She told the telegraph.

Maybe a little over the top but she is a 19-year-old actress, who tries desperately to maintain her privacy while keeping fans of the Twilight saga happy. She recently did a movie called the Runaways. In the movie Stewart plays the band’s bisexual leader Joan Jett, who was executive producer of the film and whose black hair and lean, punk look earned her fashion-icon status

“It was tough because I only had a really tiny window of free time, but I wanted to make the movie. And I didn’t want to get any older because I’m already older than Joan was when she was in the Runaways,” says Stewart. “I just crammed it in, and hoped that it would work. And it did. It’s nice to switch to movies like this between Twilights, but I’m excited to go and do the next couple of years of Bella’s life.”

“It’s impossible to always get across what I’m trying to say, but, if I just stay honest, then I’m not going to look back on any of these interviews and wonder what I was trying to do or be,” she says.

“I’m asked all the time in interviews about who I am, and I know a few people my age who have a strong sense of self, but I couldn’t say I know myself and sum it up and give it to you in a little package. I don’t know myself at all yet.”

She is 19 and tries to keep her prvacy while also etertaining her fans. It's hard but so far she has done amazingly well.

'Twilight' Breaking Dawn birth scene controversy!

The controversial birth scene in the upcoming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, will be hard to pull off because of all that has to go in the birth scene and keep it's PG-13 rating. There are lots of elements present from the vampire caesarian to Jacob's spiritual link to the child that would make a person feel uncomfortable.

The reason they want to do and show the birth scene is for the viewer to feel Bella's pain, and what shes going through at that time! As you can imagine giving birth to a vampire that wants your blood is a very gory addition to something that is already gory in the first place.

There also will be a traumatic moment where Jacob imprints Bella and Edward's child. This somewhat "spiritual experience" does lead to the child becoming the soul mate of much older Jacob, which will be also a controversial scene in the movie.

Whether the rating is rated R or PG-13 is still unknown, Stephenie Meyer has the control over whether it will be R rated of PG-13, because of the long and time consuming debate over the rating of the movie. The saga has a lot of younger views, they might go with PG-13 however, Stephenie Meyer may want it to be R so it can be portrayed as she wants it in the book.
